About Me
Dr. Laura C. Huang is an assistant professor of ophthalmology who specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, and pediatric uveitis/ocular inflammation. She completed medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, residency at Stanford University, and two fellowships at the University of Washington in pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus and in uveitis and intraocular inflammation. Dr. Huang sees children with a broad range of eye conditions and performs surgery at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Her approach emphasizes clear communication with families and coordination of care for children with complex inflammatory or systemic conditions. Clinical interests include pediatric uveitis, cataract, strabismus, amblyopia, nasolacrimal disorders, and ocular manifestations of systemic disease in children. Dr. Huang’s work has been recognized with multiple honors, and she collaborates closely with rheumatology colleagues to help young patients maintain comfort, vision, and development.
