Dr. Larry Patterson

Dr. Larry E. Patterson is the medical director of Eye Centers of Tennessee and a board certified ophthalmologist. He is a nationally recognized leader in cataract and refractive surgery and was the first physician in East Tennessee to perform Refractive Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery (ReLACS).

Dr. Patterson provides a range of eye care services including cataract surgery, laser vision correction such as LASIK and PRK, glaucoma laser treatment, and YAG laser capsulotomy. His practice focuses on helping patients achieve clearer vision through advanced surgical techniques.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Patterson serves as Chief Medical Editor for Ophthalmology Management and has shared his expertise through presentations and publications worldwide. He also participates in medical missions to underserved countries, performing sight-restoring surgeries.
