He completed ophthalmology residency training at Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, receiving advanced surgical training in modern cataract techniques and comprehensive eye disease management.

He also evaluates and manages glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye, and bothersome flashes and floaters. Patients appreciate his straightforward explanations, careful attention to goals, and collaborative approach with referring eye doctors. He is excited to serve the communities of Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and Pocatello, and is committed to bringing the latest techniques home to where he grew up. Outside the clinic, he enjoys time with his wife, Maddie, and their four children.
