Dr. Asoma completed his medical school and ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, where he was recognized with the Excellence in Ophthalmology award and served as Chief Resident. He further honed his skills as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Cornea at SUNY Downstate, where he trained residents and managed complex corneal cases.
