Dr. Kerry Assil

Dr. Kerry Assil is a world-renowned board-certified ophthalmologist and medical director specializing in LASIK and cataract surgery. With over 30 years of experience, he is one of the most experienced cataract surgeons in the United States and a foremost expert in laser vision correction. Dr. Assil invented the advanced Eagle Vision LASIK procedure and has performed well over 70,000 eye surgeries. He co-founded the Assil Gaur Eye Institute, which provides a comprehensive spectrum of ophthalmology services with clinics in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.

Dr. Assil has trained more than 14,000 physicians in vision correction procedures and has authored over one hundred textbooks, textbook chapters, and articles on refractive and cataract surgery. He has served as a Distinguished Professor lecturer at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Duke, Baylor, UCLA, and other leading universities. His areas of expertise encompass a wide range of advanced surgical and medical eye care.
