About Me
Dr. Nicole Fram is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist and cataract doctor in Los Angeles. She has expertise in refractive and complex cataract surgery, anterior segment reconstruction, and corneal transplantation. Dr. Fram is the managing partner at Advanced Vision Care and serves as co-fellowship director of the Masket Foundation anterior segment fellowship.
She completed her ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital, where she served as co-chief resident, and then undertook a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the Francis I. Proctor Foundation, University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Fram also holds an appointment as an adjunct assistant professor at the John A. Moran Eye Institute at the University of Utah.
Academically, Dr. Fram has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters on cataracts and corneal disease. She is actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and serves as editor of the Cataract Consultation Section of the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Fram is passionate about implementing innovative medical and surgical techniques, participates in clinical trials, and enjoys teaching colleagues, residents, and fellows.
