Dr. Kendrick Wang

Dr. Cody B. Hansen is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Garland Eye Associates who uses state-of-the-art technology to protect and restore vision. A Wyoming native, he earned a B.S. from Brigham Young University and completed medical school through the University of Washington WWAMI program for Wyoming students. He went on to the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas for both his internship and ophthalmology residency, gaining broad experience in medical and surgical eye care. In clinic and the operating room, Dr. Hansen provides cataract surgery with toric IOL options and laser techniques, and manages diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and complex inflammatory and infectious conditions. He also performs intravitreal injections and offers comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. Patients value his thoughtful explanations and steady, evidence-based approach to keeping eyes healthy at every age.

Dr. Lucy Bailey, MD, MPH is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who enjoys caring for patients of all ages. She offers full-spectrum eye care with a focus on clear communication and shared decision-making, so each person understands their diagnosis and treatment options. Patients see Dr. Bailey for routine and complex cataracts, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, and common eyelid concerns such as chalazia and ptosis. She is also experienced with advanced lens technologies, including Light Adjustable Lenses, to personalize vision after cataract surgery. A Houston native, Dr. Bailey completed medical school at Columbia University, earned a Master of Public Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and returned home for ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She later joined Houston Eye Associates, where she provides attentive, efficient care across multiple clinic locations. Dr. Bailey values compassionate, bilingual care and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful counseling, evidence-based treatments, and practical guidance that fits each patient’s goals and lifestyle.

Dr. Nicholas Lancaster is a cataract and refractive surgeon at SHARPEVISION in Austin and Chicago. He focuses on vision correction options designed to reduce dependence on glasses or contacts, and he helps patients compare surgical choices based on their eyes, goals, and daily needs. He is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Lancaster earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine (2012) and completed ophthalmology residency training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (2016). During residency, he participated in Operation Continuing Promise 2015 aboard the USNS Comfort, providing eye surgeries for patients with limited access to care. He has been recognized by the Austin-American Statesman as “Best of the Best Corrective Eye Surgeon in Austin” from 2020 through 2023.
