About Me
Dr. Kelsi Greider-Sideris is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides medical and surgical care for cataracts, glaucoma, eyelid concerns, and dry eye disease. Raised in North San Diego County, she graduated summa cum laude from Loyola Marymount University and earned her MD at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed an internal medicine internship at Olive View–UCLA and ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, receiving broad training in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and oculoplastic procedures.
Dr. Greider-Sideris has a particular interest in treating dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction. She is one of the few ophthalmologists trained to use the Lumenis OptiLight IPL system and pairs technology with practical at-home strategies to improve comfort and vision. Her philosophy is to care for each patient like family—listening closely, explaining options in plain language, and tailoring treatment to lifestyle and goals. Outside of work, she enjoys running, playing guitar, and time with loved ones.
