About Me
Dr. Justin Dredge is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery. He cares for patients with the full spectrum of glaucoma, from early disease requiring careful monitoring to complex cases that need advanced surgical solutions. His surgical interests include minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and combined cataract–glaucoma procedures tailored to each patient’s goals and lifestyle. As volunteer clinical faculty at the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute, Dr. Dredge helps train residents and fellows and stays current with evolving techniques and technologies. He has participated in research on diagnostics, glaucoma physiology, and new lens technologies, and brings those insights to the exam room in the form of practical, evidence-based recommendations. Patients value his clear explanations, steady demeanor, and long-term partnership approach to protecting vision. Outside of clinic, he is active in global ophthalmology and community outreach.
