Dr. Joshua Hendrix

Dr. Joshua Hendrix is a board-certified ophthalmologist who enjoys delivering comprehensive eye care to the Northwest Georgia community. While specializing in both medical and refractive cataract surgery and utilizing advanced techniques and technology, Dr. Hendrix also provides LASIK, eyelid surgery, diabetic eye treatments, glaucoma care (medical, laser, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery or MIGS), and macular degeneration care all with a patient-centered approach.

Inducted by his peers into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Golden Humanism Honor Society, Dr. Hendrix was also recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. While he has previously received accolades for research in his field and has been involved with teaching surgeons-in-training, he now enjoys focusing on patient care in the community. He is still an active member in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology.
