About Me
Dr. Jordan Masters is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist who focuses on treating conditions affecting the front part of the eye. He provides advanced surgical care including micro-incision cataract surgery, corneal transplantation techniques such as DMEK and DSAEK, and corneal cross-linking for keratoconus. Dr. Masters also performs refractive procedures like LASIK and PRK, pterygium surgery, and complex anterior segment surgeries to improve patient vision.
Dr. Masters graduated first in his class from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee Hamilton Eye Institute and a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Masters is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and serves as an editor for EyeWiki.com. He holds leadership roles as the Associate Medical Director of the LifeShare Carolinas Eye Bank and Assistant Medical Director of the Asheville Eye Surgery Center.
