Dr. John Johnson

Dr. Hank Johnson is an ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea and external disease, as well as comprehensive eye care. He has extensive experience with modern cataract surgery techniques, including small incision and no-stitch methods, and offers various lens implants for astigmatism correction and multi-focal vision. His expertise extends to laser vision correction procedures like LASIK and PRK.

He provides comprehensive care for numerous eye conditions such as Fuch’s dystrophy, corneal infections, dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Johnson is also proficient in contact lens fittings and routine eye exams for patients of all ages, and he is trained in advanced corneal transplantation techniques including DMEK, DSAEK, and PK.

His medical training includes a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Florida, where he was elected Chief Resident, and a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at Columbia University's Edward Harkness Eye Institute in New York City.
