Dr. Jonathan Staman

Dr. Jonathan Staman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal specialist at the Florida Retina Institute in Jacksonville. He provides personalized care for retinal conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears, detached retina, macular holes, and retinal vein occlusion. Dr. Staman is dedicated to helping patients maintain their vision and independence.

Dr. Staman earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed specialized training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. He joined the Florida Retina Institute in 2013 and is available to see patients at multiple locations including Jacksonville Southside, Lake City, and Palm Coast.

A Jacksonville native, Dr. Staman is committed to serving his hometown community. In his personal time, he enjoys live music, supporting the Jaguars, and outdoor activities with his family.
