Dr. John Aey

Dr. John P. Aey is an ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and comprehensive eye care, serving patients in the Greater Mahoning Valley. He provides medical and surgical treatment for glaucoma, including advanced procedures such as the iStent, Iridex MicroPulse Laser, XEN Gel Stent, and DURYSTA. Dr. Aey also performs cataract and lens implant surgery, offering laser-assisted and traditional techniques, as well as advanced technology intraocular lens implants and refractive cataract surgery.

Dr. Aey completed his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Indiana University Medical Center. He then pursued a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Oklahoma's Dean A. McGee Eye Institute. He is board certified in ophthalmology and maintains licensure in Ohio.
