Dr. Jing Dong

Dr. Jing Dong is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the owner and president of the Georgia Center for Sight and the American Eye Surgery Center in Athens, Georgia. He founded the practice in 2001 and has extensive experience in treating a wide range of eye conditions.

Dr. Dong specializes in no-needle, no-stitch cataract surgery and provides care for patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other vision-threatening conditions. He also performs oculoplastic and strabismus surgery to address eyelid and eye alignment issues. His training includes a residency in ophthalmology and a postdoctoral fellowship, along with advanced research experience.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Dong is an active member of professional organizations like the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, where he contributes his research and expertise to advance the field.
