Dr. Ayesha Badar is a board-certified ophthalmologist who cares for adults with glaucoma and other complex eye conditions at Loyola Medicine. Dr. Badar completed medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed by residency and fellowship training at Indiana University School of Medicine. As an assistant professor, she brings an academic, evidence-based approach to the exam room while keeping visits personal and unhurried. Her priority is protecting sight with safe, effective care and follow-up that patients can stick with over time.

Dr. Frini A. Makadia is a glaucoma specialist at Wheaton Eye Clinic who cares for adults with the full spectrum of glaucoma and cataract disease. She combines careful longitudinal monitoring with tailored treatments, offering medical therapy, office-based lasers such as selective laser trabeculoplasty and laser peripheral iridotomy, and a full range of surgical options—from minimally invasive glaucoma surgery to trabeculectomy and glaucoma drainage devices. She also performs routine and complex cataract surgery and helps patients choose lens options that fit their visual goals. Dr. Makadia graduated with distinction from Duke University with a BS in Chemistry (biochemistry concentration) and earned her MD cum laude at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed internship at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt Eye Institute—where she received the Benchmark Award for Clinical & Surgical Excellence—and fellowship training at The Ohio State Haevner Eye Institute focused on glaucoma. Active in research and education, she has published and presented at national meetings and enjoys partnering with patients to find practical, lasting solutions.

Dr. Mark Dikopf is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in glaucoma. He provides both medical and surgical care for glaucoma, working closely with patients to protect vision and slow disease progression. He also performs cataract surgery, including the use of femtosecond laser technology and advanced intraocular lens options, and he frequently combines cataract and glaucoma procedures when it can improve outcomes and simplify recovery. Dr. Dikopf completed a combined undergraduate and medical school program through the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he served as chief resident. He then pursued a glaucoma fellowship at the same institution. He values individualized treatment plans and takes time to educate patients about their condition and options.
