Dr. Jeri Salit

Dr. Jeri Salit is a fellowship-trained, board certified pediatric ophthalmologist. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for children, including surgery to correct eye muscle imbalance (strabismus) and the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of eye diseases. She joined Thomas Eye Group in 1996, bringing over a decade of private practice experience from San Diego, California.

Dr. Salit's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Southern California. She completed a pediatric internship at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, an ophthalmology residency at UC San Diego Medical Center, and advanced pediatric ophthalmology fellowships. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, reflecting her commitment to specialized pediatric eye care.
