Dr. Jerry E. Berland is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for children. He treats a range of conditions including eye muscle imbalance (strabismus), tear duct obstruction, cataracts, glaucoma, and eyelid abnormalities. He also specializes in eye muscle surgery for adults.

Dr. Berland serves as Assistant Chief of Ophthalmology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. He has been named to Atlanta Magazine and US News and World Report’s “Top Doctors” lists on multiple occasions. He previously served as President and Vice President of Thomas Eye Group and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. Berland also served as an eye surgeon in the US Army Medical Corps with the rank of Major.
