Dr. Jennifer De Niro

Dr. J. Edie De Niro is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist dedicated to thoughtful, patient-centered care. A summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Williams College, she earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed ophthalmology residency at California Pacific Medical Center and a glaucoma fellowship at the UC Davis Eye Center, then served as associate program director at CPMC while continuing to teach residents at Highland Hospital and CPMC.Dr. De Niro provides comprehensive glaucoma consultation and surgical care alongside advanced cataract surgery. She offers femtosecond laser–assisted cataract procedures and a full range of premium lens options, including multifocal and astigmatism-correcting implants. In every visit, she takes time to understand each patient’s visual goals, review options, and design a plan that balances safety, clarity, and convenience.
