Dr. Jennifer Dao is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who specializes in the care and treatment of children’s medical eye conditions. She provides comprehensive care for a range of pediatric eye issues, including strabismus, amblyopia, tear duct obstruction, and retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. Dao also has expertise in pediatric glaucoma and cataracts, and she performs an adjustable suture technique for adult strabismus.

Dr. Dao earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Georgetown Hospital/Washington Hospital Center. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology at Duke University. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
