About Me
Dr. Jeffrey Davis is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained cornea specialist at Coastal Eye Institute. He focuses on medical and surgical treatments of the cornea, including corneal transplantation, and performs advanced cataract surgery with micro-incision techniques and premium lens implants. Dr. Davis utilizes the latest technology, such as Vivity and PanOptix intraocular lenses, to help patients achieve clear vision and reduce dependence on glasses.
Dr. Davis earned his medical degree from the University of Florida and completed his ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued subspecialty training in cornea and external disease at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. This advanced fellowship equipped him with expertise in managing complex corneal conditions and performing delicate corneal surgeries.
With a commitment to personalized care, Dr. Davis takes time to understand each patient's visual goals and tailors treatment plans accordingly. He joined Coastal Eye Institute in 2010 and is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, from routine exams to advanced surgical interventions.
