Dr. Murray Friedberg

Dr. Murray Friedberg is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist serving patients in the Bradenton area. With over three decades of experience, he focuses on cataract surgery and corneal conditions. He offers advanced surgical options including micro-incision cataract surgery, premium lens implants such as Vivity and PanOptix, and toric lenses for astigmatism correction. Dr. Friedberg also performs cornea transplant procedures including DSEK. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive routine eye care to help patients maintain clear vision.

Dr. Friedberg completed his undergraduate and medical education at Pennsylvania State University, where he was recognized as a Phi Beta Kappa honoree. He went on to an internship at Cleveland Clinic, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in corneal transplants and lens implant surgery at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA.
