About Me

Dr. Jeffrey Lusk is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon who chose to return to his hometown of Shreveport-Bossier to practice alongside his family. He completed his glaucoma fellowship at the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas and is one of only a select number of glaucoma specialists in the Ark-La-Tex region. Dr. Lusk is also an experienced LASIK surgeon, dedicated to providing advanced, personalized eye care.

His practice is deeply rooted in family values, treating every patient with the same compassion and attention he would give a relative. He had the unique opportunity to perform cataract surgery on his own father, who had years earlier corrected Dr. Lusk's vision with LASIK. This personal connection reinforces his commitment to patient-centered care and building lasting relationships.

Dr. Lusk is actively involved in medical mission work, traveling to Mexico to perform sight-restoring surgeries for underserved communities. He stays at the forefront of his field, utilizing new minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries and advanced cataract and LASIK technologies to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.
