Dr. Jason Newman

Dr. Jason Newman is a comprehensive ophthalmologist practicing full spectrum medical and surgical eye care. He is passionate about providing individualized care through personalized education and involving patients in their treatment decisions. Dr. Newman loves getting to know his patients and focuses on building relationships to enhance their eye health.

Before joining Eugene Eye Care, Dr. Newman had a busy clinical and surgical practice in St. Louis, Missouri, where he performed thousands of vision-improving cataract surgeries and laser procedures. He is experienced in numerous advanced techniques, including Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery, and has extensive experience with a wide array of advanced intraocular lens technologies. Dr. Newman has also participated in medical outreach programs to support healthcare access in the United States, Mexico, and India.

Outside of work, Dr. Newman enjoys hiking, skiing, and exploring the great outdoors with his wife and three young daughters. He and his family are excited about their transition to the Pacific Northwest and look forward to becoming part of the community.
