About Me
Dr. James Osher is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in diseases of the retina and vitreous, including diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. A third-generation Cincinnati ophthalmologist, he completed medical school and residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by a surgical retina fellowship in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Osher is the Chief Medical Officer for Cincinnati Eye Institute Vision Partners and the Ohio Division Medical Director for EyeCare Partners. He is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Co-Chief of the Retina Service at the University of Cincinnati, where he has earned teaching awards and actively participates in clinical research, having served as an investigator on over 50 clinical trials.
