Dr. James Mcmillan

Dr. James McMillan is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been in practice since 1995. He is a graduate of the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and completed his training at Harvard's Medical Eye Program. Dr. McMillan takes a holistic, integrative approach to eye care, combining preventive and naturopathic-oriented remedies with state-of-the-art technology.

He believes in spending ample time with each patient, often devoting 60 to 90 minutes for new patients to understand their health history and concerns thoroughly. Rather than relying heavily on technicians, Dr. McMillan performs most diagnostic tests himself, ensuring personalized attention. He also enjoys staying abreast of the latest research and often sees patients for second opinions on complex eye problems that other ophthalmologists have been unable to resolve. Dr. McMillan serves the Greater Seattle and Bellevue area.
