About Me
Dr. Jack Hollins is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Retina Associates of Kentucky, specializing in vitreoretinal diseases. He treats a wide range of retinal and vitreous conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, macular hole, and vitreous hemorrhage.
Dr. Hollins is a Kentucky native who earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky and a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Vitreoretinal Foundation in Memphis. With over three decades of experience, he has served the Lexington community in private practice since 1986 and joined Retina Associates in 2019. Dr. Hollins has also held academic appointments and remains active in professional ophthalmology societies.
