Dr. Isaac Porter

Dr. Isaac Porter is a refractive surgeon in Raleigh, NC, who has been providing LASIK, LALEX (SMILE), PRK, lens replacement, and cataract surgery for over a decade. He uses advanced laser technology to correct myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, helping countless patients achieve clearer vision.

Dr. Porter is fellowship-trained and double board-certified, with expertise in a range of laser vision correction procedures and modern cataract surgery that includes laser surgery and advanced lens implants. He is the only surgeon in North Carolina offering the LALEX (SMILE) procedure. In addition to his clinical work, he has participated in research and published on ophthalmological topics.

Dr. Porter completed his medical degree with high distinction from the University of Kentucky and then trained in internal medicine and ophthalmology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, where he served as chief resident.
