About Me
Dr. Alexander Snyder is a cornea specialist practicing at Raleigh Eye Center. He performs corneal transplants, including full thickness and partial thickness procedures, and corrects refractive error with LASIK or PRK. Dr. Snyder treats medical conditions such as dry eye, keratoconus, and corneal dystrophies, and he also performs routine and complex cataract surgery.
Dr. Snyder completed his undergraduate education at Butler University, earning a B.A. in Economics and Chemistry. He received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Virginia. His training was followed by a Chief Residency and a Cornea and External Disease Fellowship at Duke University.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Snyder enjoys trail running, spending time with his dogs, exploring the outdoors, golfing, gardening, and watching sporting events with his wife.
