About Me
Dr. Hyunjoo Jean Lee is a cornea and comprehensive ophthalmologist at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, where she serves as the Fellowship Director for the Cornea Fellowship. She holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lee's practice focuses on complex cataract and corneal surgeries, including laser refractive surgery and corneal cross-linking.
She provides specialized care for patients with keratoconus, ocular surface tumors, and a wide range of corneal conditions that may require transplantation. Dr. Lee is skilled in advanced corneal transplantation techniques such as Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK), Descemet Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK), Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK), and Penetrating Keratoplasty (PK). Her experience includes managing patients with significant ocular co-morbidities.
