Dr. Henry Kwong

Dr. Henry M. Kwong is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist at Associated Retina Consultants, where he has been practicing since 2009. He treats a wide range of conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, including common retinal diseases, and has particular expertise in ocular trauma and sutured intraocular lenses. He serves as medical director and assistant director of the vitreoretinal fellowship program, and holds academic appointments as assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kwong is actively involved in research as a principal investigator in multiple national clinical trials and has collaborated on biomedical engineering projects. He is an executive board member of the Arizona Ophthalmological Society and holds memberships in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
