About Me
Dr. Hall McGee is a specialist in the medical and surgical treatment of the cornea and external eye, including laser refractive surgery. He trained at the prestigious Casey Eye Institute, completing both his ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery, where he was recognized with awards including Resident of the Year and Fellow of the Year.
He brings significant clinical experience in traditional full-thickness cornea transplantation and advanced partial-thickness techniques, such as endothelial (DSAEK) and anterior lamellar transplantation. Dr. McGee also performs small incision cataract surgery and provides general eye care and consultation, with research interests in cost-effectiveness and the safety of LASIK versus long-term contact lens wear.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. McGee serves as the Medical Director of Eye Banking at the Center for Organ Recovery and Education (CORE).
