About Me
Dr. Gregory R. Blaha is an ophthalmologist specializing in diseases of the retina and vitreous. He performs advanced vitreoretinal surgery to treat a range of retinal conditions, including retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. As a board-certified ophthalmologist, he sees patients at Lahey Medical Center in Peabody and at Gurley Eye Care Associates in Manchester, Massachusetts.
Dr. Blaha is affiliated with Beverly Hospital and Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. In addition to his clinical practice, he holds academic appointments as Associate Professor of Surgery at UMass Chan-Lahey and Adjunct Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, residency at Tufts Medical Center, and a fellowship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
