About Me
Dr. Gina Cottle is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, LASIK, and corneal transplantation. She has completed additional fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Cottle offers advanced cataract surgery options including premium intraocular lenses and laser-assisted techniques. She also provides the latest LASIK procedures and minimally invasive corneal transplantation. Additionally, she treats dry eye disease and performs corneal crosslinking for keratoconus.
Dr. Cottle has been performing cataract, corneal, and refractive surgery since 2000. She was the first surgeon in Texas to perform the Implantable Miniature Telescope for advanced macular degeneration. She is an active speaker in the fields of cataract surgery, dry eye disease, and corneal disorders. Dr. Cottle completed her undergraduate education at Bucknell University, her ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Virginia, and a Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at Eye Consultants of Atlanta and Emory Vision Correction Center. She has practiced in Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, and Birmingham, Alabama, and is now serving the Austin community.
In her practice, Dr. Cottle emphasizes advanced technology and quality patient care to help patients achieve freedom from glasses or contact lenses and improve their quality of life through better vision.
