Dr. Gene W. Chen is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist who provides highly specialized medical and surgical care for the retina, with a particular focus on the macula—the portion of the retina essential for clear vision. His practice encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of retinal conditions, including macular diseases, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, and age-related macular degeneration. He also performs complex cataract and lens surgery for patients with coexisting retinal issues.
