Dr. Erin Ong, MD, MS is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, cornea, and complex anterior segment surgery in Northern Virginia. She completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland, serving as chief resident, followed by fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Her background also includes an MD and master’s degree in genomic medicine from the University of Miami.
Dr. Ong’s interests include custom cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, keratoconus management, and pterygium surgery. She also evaluates and treats dry eye disease and offers contemporary refractive options for appropriate candidates.
