About Me
Dr. Erik Anderson is a board-certified cataract surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist serving the Colorado Springs community. He is known for meticulous surgical technique, clear explanations, and a friendly, low-pressure approach to decision-making. In addition to modern cataract surgery, he provides full-scope medical eye care, including treatment of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and age-related macular degeneration.
A Colorado native, Dr. Anderson graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, completed a master’s degree at Georgetown University, and earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois. He trained in ophthalmology at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he served as Chief Resident, and completed a fellowship in Cornea, Refractive, and External Disease at Wake Forest. He has performed thousands of eye procedures and offers in-office laser treatments, corneal care, and refractive lens options tailored to each patient’s goals.
