About Me
Dr. Anderson is a board-certified ophthalmologist in Colorado Springs with advanced training in cataract surgery. A Colorado native, he discovered his passion for medicine early and graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, earned a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University, and completed his medical education at the University of Illinois.
He completed his ophthalmology residency at Cook County Medical Center, where he ranked in the top tier on in-service exams and demonstrated exceptional skill in cataract surgery, earning the role of Chief Resident. Following residency, he refined his expertise through a fellowship in Cornea, Refractive, and External Disease at Wake Forest University and participated in a medical mission to Honduras.
Dr. Anderson has performed over 5,000 eye surgeries in the Greater Colorado Springs area, using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and the latest advancements in cataract surgery. Outside of medicine, he enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with his wife and their two young children.
