Dr. Eric Speckner

Dr. Eric E. Speckner is a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon specializing in glaucoma. He provides medical and surgical care for patients with glaucoma, as well as comprehensive eye health services including cataract surgery and management of common eye conditions. Dr. Speckner joined The Eye Center of Oak Ridge in 2013 and has been in private practice in Knoxville since 2011. He is a member of the American Glaucoma Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Speckner earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed a clinical glaucoma fellowship at the University of British Columbia. His training also includes an ophthalmology residency and chief year at the University of Cincinnati, and an internal medicine internship at The Christ Hospital. He is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality eye care to his patients.
