About Me
Dr. Elizabeth P. Simmons is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina at UConn Health. She completed her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and her residency in ophthalmology at the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Simmons then pursued a fellowship in medical retina at the Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School, where she gained advanced training in the management of retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
Dr. Simmons provides comprehensive ophthalmologic care with a focus on medical retinal diseases. She sees patients at UConn Health's outpatient locations in Farmington and West Hartford, Connecticut. Dr.
