About Me
Dr. Eileen M. Myers is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides medical and surgical care for cataracts, glaucoma, and eyelid conditions. She is the only provider in Alaska offering corneal cross-linking that uses both FDA-approved equipment and FDA-approved techniques. Dr. Myers earned her B.S. at Baylor University and her M.D. at Brown University, then completed an internship and facial microsurgery course at Indiana University followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati. She later broadened her anterior segment skills and brings that experience to each patient visit.Originally from Anchorage, Dr. Myers has cared for patients in private practice and through international mission work, where she served as Director of Ophthalmology and Director of a surgery center. Her approach emphasizes listening first, clear explanations, and tailoring treatment to each person’s goals—whether that means restoring clarity from cataracts, stabilizing glaucoma, or resolving bothersome lid problems.
