About Me
Dr. Elizabeth Morgan is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of cataracts and glaucoma. She has been with Ophthalmic Associates since 2003, where she provides comprehensive care for these conditions. Additionally, Dr. Morgan serves as the acting chief of ophthalmology at Providence Medical Center, contributing to broader eye care services in the community.
Her educational journey includes earning a B.A. with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by an M.D. from The University of California, San Francisco. She completed post-graduate training at the University of Washington, involving two years of basic science research and two years of surgical residency. Dr. Morgan further specialized through ophthalmology training at the Storm Eye Institute and a fellowship in glaucoma at Swedish Medical Center under renowned experts.
Dr. Morgan is actively involved in research, focusing on the molecular mechanisms of inflammatory reactions to surgery, and has published extensively on this topic.
