Dr. Edward Hernandez

Dr. Edward V. Hernandez is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery and the treatment of ocular diseases. He has conducted vision physiology research and co-authored papers on retinal electrophysiology. Dr. Hernandez also holds a patent for a novel device used in the treatment of dry eye.

Dr. Hernandez has been providing comprehensive eye care to patients in Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico since 1998. He is the founder of Eyes of the Southwest, a state-of-the-art ophthalmology practice.
