About Me
Dr. Marc Ellman is a board-certified ophthalmologist and surgeon specializing in comprehensive eye care, cataract surgery, and glaucoma treatment. He founded Southwest Eye Institute in 2004 and Vista Surgery Center in 2008, bringing a long-standing vision for excellence and patient-centered care to his practice.
His medical training includes a residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. Dr. Ellman is actively involved in education, teaching cataract surgery techniques to other physicians and contributing to medical literature as a published author.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Ellman is fluent in Spanish and engages in community service, such as volunteering as a pilot for Angel Flight and serving on the board of the El Paso Holocaust Museum. He believes in treating every patient like family, combining advanced technology with compassionate care.
