Dr. Robert Villalobos

Dr. Robert L. Villalobos is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on medical retina, or diseases affecting the retina. He treats a wide range of eye conditions and performs routine eye exams, with a special focus on retinal health.

Dr. Villalobos earned his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Cd. Juarez and completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He is licensed in New Mexico and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New Mexico Medical Society. Prior to joining Southwestern Eye Center, he maintained his own private practice for over 20 years.

Dr. Villalobos is fluent in Spanish and cares for patients at his Las Cruces office.
