About Me
Dr. Lazzaro is an ophthalmologist at NYU Langone specializing in cornea and external disease. He treats a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye complications, eye trauma, and macular degeneration. He also manages complex corneal cases and performs corneal procedures and laser refractive surgery. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Lazzaro provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages.
His clinical research focuses on corneal disease and eye trauma. Dr. Lazzaro serves on the medical advisory board for the Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been recognized by New York Magazine's "Best Doctors in New York" and Castle Connolly's "Top Doctors" series for the New York Metro Area.
