About Me

As an ophthalmologist at NYU Langone, I am privileged to be part of a team dedicated to compassionate patient care. My professional approach is centered on forming comprehensive relationships with my patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care. The ever-evolving field of ophthalmology, with its cutting-edge technology, allows me to provide the most advanced treatments available.

I specialize in cataract and cornea surgery, performing over 800 surgeries annually. This extensive experience enables me to restore sight through quick and pain-free procedures, significantly improving my patients' quality of life. As the “Surgical Scholar” for our department, I am deeply involved in resident education, training the next generation of skilled cataract surgeons.

My journey into medicine was inspired by my father, an ophthalmologist, who instilled in me the importance of motivating and educating future surgeons. After completing my medical training and residency at NYU Langone, I was eager to return as an attending physician. My educational background and personal experiences have shaped my dedication to patient care and resident education.
