About Me
Dr. Patrianakos is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Cook County Health who serves as Division Chairman. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and anterior segment conditions. His clinical expertise encompasses glaucoma management, cataract surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).
Dr. Patrianakos completed his ophthalmology residency at Cook County Hospital and a fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His research interests include optic nerve imaging and micro-invasive glaucoma surgical techniques. He treats patients with glaucoma, cataracts, and other anterior segment disorders, offering both medical and surgical treatments including laser procedures and traditional surgery. He is dedicated to preserving vision and improving quality of life through advanced eye care.
