About Me
Dr. Deborah K. VanderVeen is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Boston Children's Hospital, where she serves as Director of the Pediatric Cataract Service and Director of the Retinopathy of Prematurity Service. She is also a Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, bringing extensive expertise to her practice.
Dr. VanderVeen provides comprehensive eye care for children, treating a wide range of conditions including cataracts, retinopathy of prematurity, strabismus (crossed eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), glaucoma, blocked tear ducts, corneal abrasions, eye injuries, and uveitis. She also addresses complex cases related to Marfan syndrome, neurofibromatosis, and tuberous sclerosis complex.
