About Me
Dr. David Poulsen is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and intraocular lens procedures, adult eye exams, and lens-based refractive surgery. Originally from Half Moon Bay, California, he brings a compassionate approach to eye care, emphasizing thorough evaluations and personalized treatment plans. He completed his undergraduate studies in Humanities at Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree and a Master of Public Health concurrently from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Harvard School of Public Health.
His clinical training includes an internship in internal medicine at UCSF Fresno and a residency in ophthalmology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Poulsen is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and serves as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at OHSU School of Medicine.
