Dr. Matthew Kaufman is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist at EyeHealth Northwest, specializing in advanced cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma procedures. He was named one of Portland’s Top Doctors in 2021 by Portland Monthly Magazine. Dr. Kaufman focuses on complex cataract surgery with toric, multifocal, and extended depth-of-focus intraocular lenses, and he offers the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens for patients seeking customized vision outcomes after surgery.

He also performs femtosecond laser cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) to address a wide range of eye conditions. Dr. Kaufman sees patients for comprehensive eye exams and manages various eye diseases. His approach is patient-centered, aiming to improve vision and quality of life through the latest surgical technologies and techniques.

Dr. Kaufman earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the UPMC Eye Center, where he served as Chief Ophthalmology Resident.
